JAMES M-HISKETT is a curator, writer and occasional visual artist based in Manchester, UK. James is Associates Coordinator and also Finance Coordinator at Castlefield Gallery, Manchester. James was previously an Associate Curator at Pavement Gallery, Manchester, and recently completed an MA in Contemporary Curating at Manchester School of Art.

James trained as an artist, gaining a BA in Fine Art from Manchester School of Art, and is a past Rogue Artists Studios studio holder. James has initiated projects such as the podcast series Chewing the Fat, supported by Castlefield Gallery and A Modest Show, has written for regional arts press and other publications, and participated in the the Curators of Tomorrow Fellowship Programme with Q21/MuseumsQuartier Wien in 2021.
